About

We watched the phone ring while the kitchen drowned.

OrderVox started in a family restaurant on a Friday night. Three tickets on the rail, a full dining room, and a phone that rang eleven times — answered four. Every unanswered ring was a customer who wanted to give the restaurant money and couldn't.

The options at the time were all bad: hire someone just for phones (expensive), an answering service that takes messages nobody has time to return (pointless), or voicemail (where orders go to die). So we built the thing we wished existed: a phone employee that answers every call, knows the menu cold, takes accurate orders, and gets the manager when a real decision is needed.

Today OrderVox answers calls for restaurants around the clock, in multiple languages, and sends the orders — and the revenue — straight to their kitchens. We measure ourselves on one number: orders that would have been lost, captured instead.

What we believe

The phone is sacred

For most independent restaurants the phone is still the highest-intent sales channel that exists. We treat every ring like the revenue it is.

Never fake it

Our AI only sells what's on your menu, admits what it doesn't know, and hands humans the calls humans should take. Trust is the product.

Restaurants first, AI second

We're not an AI company looking for use cases. Every feature starts with a question from a working restaurant owner.
